"I started my career at The Poussin Restaurant, Brockenhurst igniting a passion for great food and great produce.
But moving to the Isle of Wight and spending the next ten years as the Head Chef of the Seaview Hotel was really the start of this beautiful obsession with the Island. The fresh local produce, the sea air and the chance to constantly bring fun and exciting new ideas to this little place we call home.
I've had the opportunity to open some great restaurants in the last 20 years. The Net in Bembridge, Lugleys and The Garlic Farm to name a few and with each one I'd like to think we brought something fresh to the ever-evolving Island dining scene.
The Duck is my first solo venture and we wanted to create a place where everyone was welcome but the food was good...really good. So, we picked a beautiful spot, recruited a great team and went for it. My family and I opened the restaurant in 2016 and we hope you'll join us on this next part of the journey".
